Saratoga County offers

A quality State Park preserve offering golf, swimming,
biking, hiking, Nordic skiing, and picnic areas.
The only area east of the Rockies which features
naturally surfacing mineral and carbonated springs. The region has a
200 year history as a health spa.
Located 30 minutes from Ballston is the Lake George
Resort Area, the home of many theme parks including the oldest in
the United States.
Saratoga County is in close proximity to the Adirondack State
Park Region of upstate New York. Within the six million acres of the
Park, there are 2,750 lakes and ponds.
In addition to the golf course at the park, there are eight other
courses located within the county.
Home of the August meet of the NYRA circuit, featuring the oldest
thoroughbred racetrack on the country.
The Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the summer home of the NYC
Opera, the NYC Ballet, the Philadelphia Orchestra and dozens of
major entertainment events.
There are eight museums in the County including the
National Racing Museum and the National Dance Hall of Fame.
There are more than 30 East Coast ski areas within a three-hour
